I opened up my query spreadsheet to mark down another query I just sent out and noticed that I had four agents who had yet to respond to a pitch I sent them earlier this year. I think it’s pretty safe to assume they invoking their ‘if we haven’t responded in 4-6 weeks, it’s not for us’ clause on their submissions pages. Meh.
I’m learning a lot, writing the new novel, so maybe I’ll brush up the previous one. Or maybe I’ll just send out the new one when it’s ready.
