I started sending out queries and pages to the agents I met at a conference in August.
I sent two out yesterday, the last one at around 4:30pm. By 11:30 (on a Friday!) I had my first rejection.
(She “wasn’t as excited by the writing” as she would like and would “stand aside for a more enthusiastic agent”. Which is a really nice way of saying “meh”).
In the spirit of this blog I will celebrate crossing her off my list and being a step closer to placing the manuscript in its true home.
